My friend, author Patricia Bosworth, passed away from complications due to the coronavirus. Patti's book, Diane Arbus: A Biography, was adapted to the film Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, now a part of MoMA’s collection. This unique and creative motion picture captured the curious and sometimes grotesque work of photographer Diane Arbus. Patti’s biographies were exhaustive and always sensitive to the subject. She didn't judge or make conclusions. Rather, Patti presented the subject in all their complex entirety.
