Librarian love goes out to Goshka Macuga’s Exhibition M, the vast tapestry commissioned for the Cullman Education and Research Building lobby. Macuga riffs on an image of art historian Andre Malraux composing the landmark book Le muse imaginare de la sculpture mondiale (The Imaginary Museum) (1952–54). Malraux’s attempt to compile and redistribute art reproductions anticipates Instagram in a big, papery way.
