In the new MoMA, R. Buckminster Fuller’s Geodesic Dome model from 1952 is hung from the ceiling on the fourth floor, providing an immersive experience in which you can look up and imagine being inside of the dome. This made me realize how radical an invention it was back then, and its continued influence on architects, art historians, and designers today.
