On a beautiful day you can take a five-mile walk up Broadway, from 64th Street to 157th Street, and feast your eyes on all the Nicolas Holiber bird sculptures, created for the National Audubon Society. If along the way you get tired of “cultcha” (the real New Yawk pronunciation), there are hundreds of restaurants for re-energizing snacks and meals.
