Another personal favorite was the Portugal Pavilion, located offsite in the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin, presenting the work of Leonor Antunes with a series of new sculptures that fit the space like stretchers, from floor to ceiling, and weave together the histories of architecture and design as well as traditional crafts. As part of her working process, the artist made references to postwar women architects and industrial designers, such as Franca Helg, who remain unstudied in the history of museums and exhibitions because they stand outside standard processes of canonization.
