Dawson City is a bizarre family legend full of mystery, adventure, holes, fire, gossip, rises and falls, swimming pools, hockey rinks, natives, explorers, the Yukon, and gold. It features rare clips of (once lost but now found) early silent film, but it is so much more in the telling. I’ll never forget the recollection of childhood memories sparked by fragments of film interspersed throughout the whole, such as ice hockey practice or candles on a big sheet cake.
