The title of this magazine, published only in a single issue, refers to the seventy-five-horsepower engine of the modern automobile. 75HP contained a mixture of Dada- and Futurist-inspired manifestos and poetry. The writing and graphic content in 75HP was created by Ilarie Voronca, Stéphane Roll, and Victor Brauner and included figures of the Romanian avant-garde, like Iancu, Vinea, and the painter M. H. Maxy. Brauner and Voronca declared in 75HP the invention of a new graphic form, “Pictopoezie” (Picturepoetry), and this new motif was articulated throughout the pages of the magazine.
