Things from the Room in the Back is an uncanny representation of an art installation in process, though the quotidian objects scattered about are in fact sculptures, many handmade from polyurethane foam, a packing material, and painted to look like the things they resemble. This three-dimensional environment was assembled by Peter Fischli and David Weiss, artists who collaborated from 1979 to 2012.
