Analogy IV is a signature early work by the important Argentinian Conceptual artist Víctor Grippo. The half-black-velvet, half-white-linen, draped table seems set for confrontation: elegant acrylic potatoes on the one side, their humble raw counterparts on the other. Artificiality comes face-to-face with real, proletarian materiality.
