A brilliant colorist and friend of fellow Hungarian émigré Marcel Breuer, Eszter Haraszty joined the impressive roster of international artists brought together by Florence Knoll. This textile, manufactured during Haraszty’s tenure as director of Knoll Textiles (in 1949–55), was shown as part of MoMA’s Good Design program.
