This drypoint is a study for an unpublished composition comprised of circular plates (version 2 of this project). There are known studies for 3 of the plates in this composition, not including the right hand or feet. - Curatorial Remarks:
- Plate dimensions of the drypoint element (study 2) could not be documented because this work is not in MoMA's collection and could not be examined in person. In MoMA's example of version 2 on paper, this element is positioned so measuring is impossible.
