The left half of this diptych is an impression of "Girl with Hair," version 2 of 2, only state, outside the edition. The composition on the right half of the diptych also appears in "Self-Portrait," 2009, as seen below in Related Works in the Catalogue.

This composition is comprised of two fabric sheets stitched together to combine two digital prints.
Other Remarks:
According to the Louise Bourgeois Studio, the composition on the right half of this diptych went through two steps involving digital printing. First, the Source work was used to create a digital print. (See "The Maternal Man" below in Related Works in the Catalogue.) Then, the baby was digitally removed, creating the composition seen here.
