Wendy Williams, Managing Director of the Louise Bourgeois Studio, remembers laying out words in different font sizes and positions, and faxing them to the artist as she considered various projects. In the photograph seen below in Related Works in Other Mediums, Bourgeois is pictured holding up one of the mock-ups used to develop this composition.
The photograph was taken by Pouran Esrafily, who made films on Bourgeois's life and work. Esrafily also presided for many years over the Sunday Salons held by the artist at her home. The image was published in the March 2010 issue of the German magazine "Monopol" (p. 40-53).
