Edition Information:: This edition is unique in that the color of the paper and the hand additions vary slightly from impression to impression, and from panel to panel.

There is 1 known variant impression of the only state, outside the edition.

Outside the "Spring" edition, there is a diptych composition which combines this plate with the plate editioned as “The Underground Life of Fear.” The diptych was published as part of an illustrated book.
