Today in my work there is a strong
emotional motivation, but it is held in a
kind of formal restraint. The two things
have to be together. The motivation is
emotional and murderous or whatever you
call it, but the form has to be absolutely
strict and pure.
It is not conscious motivation. It is
unconscious motivation. After a work is
finished, then you say, Ah my God!
This is what I meant!
