There may be variations in the fabrics used in this edition, as is commonly found in the old fabrics Bourgeois chose to use as printing surfaces. There may also be variations in the hemming within the edition, with some works having visible hems and others having invisible hems.
Dimensions throughout the edition vary slightly because of hemming and stretching fluctuations.
State Changes and Additions:
Changes from state I: outlines of forms refined; forms filled in.
Background:
This is one of 25 screenprints on fabric that Bourgeois printed and editioned with Procuniar Workshop in 2002. All the compositions are abstract and are printed in red, but the sizes vary and the group was not issued together as a series. (See Cat. Nos. 298-322.)
Curatorial Remarks:
This impression has been mounted to a backing board with cross stitches in each corner, and framed. Due to the nature of the mounting and framing of this work, the verso could not be examined.
