The progression of this composition, as seen in the Evolving Composition Diagram below, included 11 different aluminum lithography plates. The combinations of plates (and the colors of ink) vary from one impression to another.
Print State Changes:
Changes from version 1: matrix including flower imagery replaced with matrix including boot imagery, in lithography.
Addition via masking: moon. - Curatorial Remarks:
- A blended inking on one run created the blue to yellow-blue gradation.
