ABSTRACT ARTISTS TO HOLD 17TH SHOW; Paintings on View This Week at Equity -- Group Displays Also Work by Gallatin

Art exhibitions, both group and one-man shows, continue to supply the New York gallery goer with a wide variety of attractions. Among other events this week, the American Abstract Artists will hold their seventeenth annual exhibition, this time at Artists Equity, 13 East Sixty-seventh Street, and the organization is putting on simultaneously a memorial exhibition of paintings by A. E. Gallatin, who was closely identified with the group.
