For Children: Toy Carnival Opens at Museum; Playthings Planned to Spur Creative Insight Featured at Exhibit

New experimental toys appeared in the eleventh Children's Holiday Carnival, which opened yesterday at the Museum of Modern Art, 11 West Fifty-third Street. All of the toys, which are by leading artists and designers, are planned to encourage the active participation by children and to stimulate creative insight by exploring texture, color, light and motion.
