Artistic factors that produce outstanding car design were illustrated yesterday in an automotive exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, 11 West Fifty-third Street. The display-of models indicated that European manufacturers had outstripped American competitors in the handling of motor vehicle lines that met esthetic tests.
