MUSEUM HOLDING DESIGNS CONTEST; Modern Art to Give $2,000 in Prizes for Best Fabric Work --Special Display Planned

Through its department of industrial design, the Museum of Modern Art announced yesterday the opening of a $2,000 prize competition for the design of printed fabrics. The competition is sponsored by a group of leading stores throughout the country. It will close on June 1.
