In the Rustic Vermont Hills Chefs Show a Fine Flair

By Raymond A. SOKOLOVSpecial

RAWSONVILLE, Vt. -- Snow has finally come to the slopes this season, and, with it, skiers looking not only for packed powder and uncrowded lifts, but also in search of a good meal after the last schuss of the day down Stratton Mountain or Big Bromley. In this area, up until the last two weeks or so, excellent dining has been easier to find than excellent snow conditions.
