Harry Jones is an active duty Army officer who has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently assigned to the United States Military Academy at West Point as an instructor of philosophy. He teaches an introductory course on Philosophy and Ethics in which cadets develop their capacities to think clearly and critically, become acquainted with various viewpoints on major philosophic issues, and acquire a facility with the language, arguments, and methods of moral discourse. Special attention is given to the subject of war and morality. He is currently working at the intersection of creativity and ethics and is exploring various ways the military can learn from designers.
