A former J.P. Morgan partner, Dwight Morrow served as the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico from 1927 until 1930. He was a crucial figure in stabilizing relations between the two countries after the Mexican Revolution. Instrumental in ending the Cristero War (1926–29), Morrow also adroitly protected U.S. business interests in Mexico during his three-year tenure there.
