Look at the floor: The diamond shapes range from white and green to blue and green, blue and white, and blue and orange. Is this a very original floor pattern? We know Bonnard's bathroom floor was covered in blue and white linoleum. Do these color modulations then translate various degrees of wetness of the floor, or do they reflect the various effects of light as it reverberates from adjacent objects?
