The artist; Léon Zamaron (1872-1955), Paris, [presumably 1922] 1927- at least 1948 [1]. Purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Maxime L. Hermanos from Marcel Bernheim & Cie, Paris, September 11, 1958 [2]; by gift to The Museum of Modern Art, New York, 1964 [3].
