Seeds fall on earth to be embraced, nurtured and nourished by it. They break out to form magnificent visions that sustain and take us out of the mundane into the realm of an extraordinary, magical, mystical, where everything is inter-connected. Out of the seed the cosmos is born. If we listen carefully we can hear the soft whisper with which each seed returns to earth to grow and keep us alive. We are all nurtured by the trinity of the farmer, water and earth. In the lonely the furrow of the farmer, set against burdens of labour, exile and a lifetime of toil, is the core of our existence whether we are conscious of it or not.
It is the profound experience that artist Shambhavi brings to us through a very simple gesture – singularity. The five elements, earth, water, fire, air and the sky all exist within the Brahmaand, the cosmos. This is the essence seed of our existence.
