Various Artists with Meret Oppenheim Parkett no. 4 1985

  • Not on view

Oppenheim collaborated with the editors of *Parkett* on a 1985 issue, which featured glove-shaped cutouts surrounded by the artist’s poems. She also designed a pair of gloves that was released in an edition of 150. The suede gloves, made of goatskin dyed blue and silkscreened and embroidered with a design that resembles pink veins, realize a sketch Oppenheim drew in 1936, during her first stint in Paris.
