Jasper Johns. Untitled. 2001

Jasper Johns Untitled 2001

  • Not on view

Johns began this series with leftover, rejected sheets from two editions of prints. He spent a month cutting and pasting elements and painting and drawing over them to come up with these thirteen works. They offer an almost musical sense of variation in tone yet remain linked thematically.
