Toy Story 2. 1999. USA. Directed by John Lasseter

On the occasion of MoMA’s gallery exhibition and film series Pixar: 20 Years of Animation (December 14, 2005–February 6, 2006), Pixar Animation Studios and The Walt Disney Company generously donated to the Museum all of Pixar’s feature and short films to date. MoMA has continued to collect the studio’s work over the last five years, and with Pixar Revisited we open our vaults to salute the animation studio, now celebrating its 25th anniversary.

This exhibition is organized by Jenny He, Curatorial Assistant, Department of Film.
