In the Making: Summer 2016
Teen Art Show

MoMA August 12–September 13, 2016
  • Education Center

In the Making is a free after-school and summer program that engages New York City high school students in an exploration of modern and contemporary art. Integrating art making, observation, travel, and discussion, these six-week intensive art courses invite students to use MoMA as a resource for inspiration, discovery, and learning. Collaborative and individual activities provide a space for students to create their own works of art. Traveling to MoMA every week, they created a community of their own at the Museum—a sense of which can be seen here—and we are pleased to present their work to the public.

Saturday–Thursday, 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Friday, 10:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
