Since the 1960s, the work of Robert Heinecken has been hugely influential in redrawing photography’s boundaries, creating intersections with montage, sculpture, Conceptual art, and more. Join us to examine a selection of Heinecken’s work, together with some of his own statements about his artistic goals, and consider their relationship to traditional photography.
The exhibition Robert Heinecken: Object Matter includes sexual content that some visitors may find disturbing. Those accompanying children may wish to exercise discretion.
