Even when Robert Rauschenberg lived on an island in Florida, the majority of his art was still made in close dialogue and collaboration with friends and lovers. Ideas and artistic processes flowed freely and generously, often blurring the boundaries of authorship. This session will focus on work Rauschenberg made with artists, dancers, musicians, and writers—and in the spirit of that collaboration we’ll experiment with a group art-making activity. No artistic skill is required.

This session is led by Kerry Downey.
