Whirling under the influence of Godard and Brecht, Kristl’s experimental feature employs most of the filmmakers living in Munich to tell the comic story of one man’s search for meaning, as he travels the world in an attempt to deliver a stray letter. A rare comedy from the era, animated by unrestrained hand-held camerawork.
