Susan, a new arrival in New York City from Dayton, Ohio, takes a job as a dancer in a club and finds a congenial place to live with her new roommate, Diane. Susan wants to meet a nice man but winds up with a string of jerks. Little does Susan know that Diane has clandestinely arranged these matches so that Susan will give up on men and fall into her arms.
