- Introduction
- Dearstyne studied under Mies van der Rohe at the Bauhaus and then moved with him to Chicago, where he helped set up the architectural school at the Armour Institute, later called the Illinois Institute of Technology. Dearstyne was an associate professor at ITT from 1957 to 1969.
