Heidi Hirschl Orley is Assistant Director for Curatorial Affairs at the MoMA. Since 2014, she has worked in a range of curatorial capacities at MoMA, most recently as curatorial expansion project manager, collaborating closely with chief curators to oversee the reinstallation of three floors of collection galleries in the newly expanded building. Prior to that, she helped organize the 2016 MoMA exhibition Edgar Degas: A Strange New Beauty, and she has held positions at Columbia University, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and David Zwirner Gallery. Hirschl Orley has an MA in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University and a BA from Harvard College.
