The Museum of Modern Art is committed to enabling all visitors to experience its unparalleled collection of modern art. We recognize the diversity of our general public's abilities and needs and offer a variety of programs and services to ensure the accessibility of the Museum and its collections. We hope to provide the most inclusive environment for every Museum visitor.

All programs and services are free of charge unless otherwise noted. Tours are by appointment. To schedule a trip, please call at least two weeks in advance. For more information, call (212) 708-9864 (voice), (212) 247-1230 (TTY), or e-mail accessprograms@moma.org.

Wheelchair Accessible Transportation

Access and Services
All public areas of the Museum, including the galleries and Library, are wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchairs and walkers are available at the Lobby Information Desk free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
   
Restrooms and drinking fountains are located in the main Lobby and are wheelchair accessible.
   
Public telephones and TTY are located in the main Lobby and are wheelchair accessible.

MoMA audio programs offer information about selected works in an exhibition. Written transcripts of MoMA audio programs are available upon request.

FM headsets for sound amplification of gallery and slide talks are available at the Education Desk in the main Lobby.

Braille information brochures with facts about the Museum and its services are available at the Lobby Information Desk. Large-print and braille exhibition brochures are available for select special exhibitions at the Education Desk in the main Lobby.
