Admission is free for all visitors during UNIQLO Free Friday Nights, held every Friday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets for UNIQLO Free Friday Nights are not available in advance. Your UNIQLO Free Friday Night ticket permits you to all other Museum galleries, exhibitions, and films.

Please note: Film tickets may be obtained for same-day screenings at no charge by presenting your Museum admission ticket stub at the film desk.

Please note: Salvador Dalí's The Persistence of Memory is not currently on view. It will return to MoMA in September 2013.

Film Admission

Admission to the day's film program is free for Museum ticket holders, but separate screening tickets are required. A film admission ticket does not include admission to the Museum galleries. The price of a film admission ticket may be applied toward the price of a Museum admission ticket or MoMA membership within 30 days.

During UNIQLO Free Friday Nights, film tickets are free from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Effective immediately, bags larger than 11 x 14" are not permitted in the theaters. There is no bag check and filmgoers with such items will be turned away. We appreciate your understanding and compliance.

Advance Film Tickets

Screening tickets are released one week in advance starting at 9:30 a.m. at the main lobby information desk and online.

There is an advance charge of $1 for Museum members and $1.50 for the general public if tickets are purchased one day or more in advance. The onsite advance reservation fee is waived for contributing and Film Plus members.

Same-day Rush Film Tickets

A limited number of same-day rush tickets will be released on the day of the program at 9:30 a.m. at the main lobby information desk and online.

Theater Information

Admittance to the theater is not permitted more than 15 minutes after the program has begun.

Sound-enhancement systems are available free of charge at the film desk.

For screenings held in the Museum's Theaters 1 and 2 (The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters 1 and 2), use The Ronald S and Jo Carole Lauder Building entrance, east of the main entrance on 53rd Street. Use The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building entrance on 54th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues for screenings held in Theater 3 (The Celeste Bartos Theater).


*Individual, Student, National/International, and Artist members: one ticket per screening. Dual and Family members: one ticket per cardholder per screening. Contributing Level Members, Fellow, and above: up to five tickets per cardholder per screening.

**Members may purchase up to five additional guest tickets at $5 each. Guests must be accompanied by the card-holding member in order to gain admittance.
