The Modern offers the original, French-American cuisine of Alsatian-born Executive Chef Gabriel Kreuther, with desserts by Pastry Chef Marc Aumont. A separate street-level entrance on West Fifty-third Street allows guests to enjoy the restaurant and bar beyond Museum hours.
The Modern won the 2006 James Beard Foundation Awards for both "Best New Restaurant" and "Outstanding Restaurant Design." The Modern holds Three Stars from The New York Times and one Michelin star. For information and reservations, call (212) 333-1220 or visit www.themodernnyc.com.
