Laurel and Hardy Triple Bill
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were masters of the slow burn that ignites into physical comedy, especially that in which property is gleefully destroyed. In this triplet, which slides from silent cinema to sound, Laurel and Hardy play with a kilt, pants, and a skirt; portray sailors who demolish a traffic jam; and deal with one large piano and one long flight of stairs. The films of Laurel and Hardy are best experienced communally.
