Now in its 42nd year, the renowned New Directors/New Films festival, presented jointly by The Museum of Modern Art and the Film Society of Lincoln Center, introduces New York audiences to the work of emerging or not-yet-established filmmakers from around the world. This year the festival takes place at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center and at The Roy and Niuta Titus Theater 1 at MoMA. Programming and ticketing information will be available soon at newdirectors.org.

Organized by a selection committee comprising Jytte Jensen, Curator; Rajendra Roy, The Celeste Bartos Chief Curator; and Joshua Siegel, Associate Curator, Department of Film, The Museum of Modern Art; and Robert Koehler, Marian Masone, and Gavin Smith, the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

New Directors/New Films is presented by The Museum of Modern Art and the Film Society of Lincoln Center and is supported by Kenneth Kuchin, The Junior Associates of The Museum of Modern Art, the New Wave Young Patrons of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, The New York Times, American Airlines, Stella Artois, and Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water.
