    2003. Austria/Switzerland/Germany. Directed by Martina Kudlácek. This revealing documentary about Deren’s vivid life and poetic work includes excerpts from her films and footage from an unpublished choreographic work, Ensemble for Somnambulists (1951), along with intimate conversations with Alexander Hammid, Stan Brakhage, Jonas Mekas, Miriam Arsham, and other contemporaries. 103 min.
