2005. USA/Great Britain. Directed by Sally Potter. With Joan Allen, Simon Abkarian, Sam Neill, Shirley Henderson. Either unable or unwilling to come to terms with her deteriorating marriage, a married American woman, “She,” turns to a Lebanese chef in London, “He.” Their dramatically different backgrounds force them to confront the conflicts in their lives. The film’s dialogue is intensified by its presentation in iambic pentameter. 100 min.
