    1945. USA. Directed by George Cukor. Screenplay by Ruth Gordon, Garson Kanin. With Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Judy Holliday. The two sexes battle it out. Tracy, a prosecutor assigned to try a woman who attempted to shoot her cheating husband, is married to Hepburn (in the film), who takes on the case as the defendant's attorney. 101 min.
