With tongue-in-cheek gusto and boundless energy, Belmonte captures the postmodern mindset of a group of friends living life near the edge. Such is life: that game didn’t work out; that job didn’t work out; that business with the priest didn’t work out; that bootleg DVD didn’t work; and on and on...but everything’s going to be just fine.
