    1999. USA. Directed by Agnieszka Holland. With Ed Harris, Anne Heche, Armin Mueller-Stahl. In his second film with Holland, Harris plays a wavering priest investigating a purported miracle. Holland identified with her mother's Catholicism as a child, and the film reflects her own ambiguity regarding faith and religion. 119 min.
