    1933. USA. Directed by Bud Pollard. From a play by David Leonard. With Mitchell Harris, Betty Hamilton. A Jewish jurist insists on justice for an accused African American, with dangerous consequences. Mixing styles, genres, and whatever film footage was handy, Pollard attempted to expand the Yiddish film market by shooting the entire picture in English. Print courtesy of EmGee Library. 60 min.
