    1932. USA. Directed by Howard Hawks. Screenplay by Ben Hecht. With Paul Muni. Dalí's inclusion of gangster imagery across his aesthetic production was informed by his adulation of the Hollywood films that illustrated modern, urban America, including this gritty portrait of Tony "Scarface" Camonte's rise to prominence in the Chicago underworld. 93 min.
