Shanghaied Lovers
1924. USA. Directed by Roy Del Ruth. With Harry Langdon. A newlywed couple is kidnapped by pirates aboard a creaky, old ship. The captain of the pirate ship is an ill tempered brute and the groom must disguise his bride to protect her from the crew. Eventually a storm that destroys the ship, and the bride and groom are seen adrift on a raft in a cozy state of newlywed bliss. Silent; Czech intertitles. Approx. 16 min.
